Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) truck stalls backing up with a/c on

I got a buddy with a 96 auto has a problem, the truck stalls backing up with the a/c on. The idle is fine with the a/c on but it I thought I would ask you all for a little help before I get my fingers dirty, thanks for any suggestions. Packmule

Raise the idle about 100 rpm and that should fix the problem.

Myself and others have had the same problem especialy with a BOMBED truck and with a tight convertor. Let me know how it goes.

This truck is a plain jane bone stock. Going to turn up the idle hopefully on Monday if we can get together I will let you know thanks packmule
