Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Truck stalls when put in gear

Truck sat for a couple of days, starts fine, but when put in gear, engine stalls. Any ideas?

Hopefully this isn't your problem but I went through a bunch of stuff on my truck when it started doing this. On mine it only did it when it was warm out and after the truck was warmed up. Replaced the solenoid and pressure transducer in the transmission, put a new APPS on it and it ended up being a bad VP-44 in my case. Put a HP VP-44 from Scheids on it and the truck has never run so good.
