I have had my truck & trailer stolen my an employee. When the police were called to a "disturbance" at a residence ( the employees) it seems he fleed ... in my truck, with the trailer in tow.

Hope the injection pump fails on him :-laf

He also has about $70,000 worth of inventory in the trailer.

RDHamill,

Well, ok, IF I was going to steal a truck I would choose yours too! But, I don't steal.

Hate it that this happened. Are you going to prosecute him?

Godspeed,
Trent

So he thought he could outrun the police cars (and radios) while towing that trailer? He's either a REALLY big Dodge fan, or a complete moron.

I'm thinking it's the latter. After all, I'm sure he also thought he'd just blend in with traffic.

Happy to report that the trailer and inventory have been recovered ( he dropped the trailer) the truck and my laptop, plus the guy are still on the run.

and yes, when caught he will be prosecuted. my lawyer is on that allready

thanks guys

Good Luck on getting your ride back.

He's been on the run a couple of days now. I wonder if he's still in Canada or in the US. I'm sure there is an all point bulletin on him.

Truck has been recovered, Cops found it , with the guy in it. He had cut his wrist but had not yet bleed to death, officier called me as the ambulance was pulling away, said he figured the guy would not make it, that has not been confirmed.

Insurance adjuster tells me they'll replace the headliner, leather , seat foam, carpet and anything else that might have gotten bloody.

Might get to see it tommorrow.

Call me insensitive, but society would be better off if he did bleed to death. Our tax dollars won't be wasted paying for his cable and gym and hot meal while he is in prison. Thing somebody on here said something about shooting horse thieves, my truck is my horse... I'll leave it at that.

He's in Canada. Aren't criminals banished to Quebec? :-laf

Well he survived. Seems to have no remorse for his actions, and get this, he says he can't go to treatment for a year , as he'd lose his job. Little does he know that I have the paperwork all finished "terminated for just cause".

Our society is so soft on crime, he'll most likely not see jail, and will get help, all the while good honest folks can't get a break.

I agree with the comment about the cop taking a break, I would have bought that coffee.

and, no I'd not like to see him banished to Quebec, that would not be fair to all the future hockey players

Enough about him, I'll do my best to see him charged.

The truck has a broken window ( doors were locked when help arrived) I'll update when I know more.

talked about mixed emotions , this has been the last week for me.....   #@$%! :{ :-laf Oo. #@$%!

I'll get over it

thanks for the vent

damn the cop couldn't take a smoke break so the guy could finish the job;)

I can't believe you said that and others agree with you. The man committed a crime and he must pay for his crime, but I can not wish him to die. He is still a human being. He may have a mom or dad or a wife or children who care about him. He does deserve his time in jail and he needs rehabilitation. I for one am happy his alive, even if I'm the only one that think that way.

No offense Griz, but if you were his parent, you would probably feel partially responsible (I've read your other posts). Someplace along the line, somebody you mentioned failed to bring him up properly... But THIS can of worms doesn't need to be brought up on the TDR site!
