 I installed a 3000 G S K, and adjusted the new springs as close as possible to the stock setting and when pulling my trailer with light pedal pressure the darn thing starts to bucking. Do the springs need to be tweeked?, I loosened the springs about 3 turns, one at time, and could not get any results. Do I need to tighten them. The truck has a #-0 plate with 370`s and scotty-11. thanx

according to TST, they say to turn the starwheel all the way off, towards the front of the truck. the spring should be a bit longer to allow for a bit of preload. hows your smoke? I image you should have alot due to the #0 plate and the 370's, here check this out

look at the second page, 1st paragraph.

Hope this might solve your problem.

I was told to backing the star wheel. Meaning toward the drive helps that condition.

I have really sensitive pedal at low rpm. Yep it will buck. Especially with 370 injectors. I just rev it a little higher between shifts. About 2100 to 2200 rpm.

I was never able to adjust it any better.
