Truck to be in production as of 1/19/04(Maybe???????????)

Talked to DC customer service and a very nice individual told me that parts were getting lined up starting 1/13/04. She indicated that by 1/19/04 my truck would most likely be at frame assembly or even into paint. Man this is exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How long does the build process take once it starts rolling? Is there a chance I might get it before the 8 week estimate? Ordered on 12/30/03.



Now the wait is even worse knowing its getting built!

The truck will take 10 hours on the assembly line. The truck will then be stored untill enough ship quanity is reached. The truck wil be shipped and will take around 20 days to reach it's destination. This is how my order worked out from Mexico to L. A. .

You still have a long way to go, mine sat for a couple of weeks after actually being built. I got all excited that it was getting built too, then the real wait began. Heck, it sat in the shipping yard in Baltimore for a week and a half. Waiting for my dealer to pick it up.

Mine was ordered 10-10 and as of 1-15 it has been shipped to storage. I assume waiting to go onto a ship. As I recall, my 97 took 4 or 5 weeks.

Mine was built on 1/8/04 and is currently in Winslow TX, where ever that is. Should be in Denver 1/21/04.

ordered mine 12/22, went D1 status on 1/9 with est ship date of 1/20 Vin # 195xxx. DC said on Friday 1/16 that it would be built early Feb!!!. Dealer checked today and it still showed 1/20 est ship date.

Update 1/20/04 Both dealer and DC confirmed truck has been built and that it is in KZ status (released by plant)

Ordered my 12/30. Dealer shows D status with no idea when build/ship date is. DC tells me one day that it is BX the next it is D, etc. etc. Had a DC person tell me it will be in production today!>!?!?!?!? This really frustrates me. At least there may be hope with yours being done soon.
