Truck Weight Guess

I had mine weighed in August. 5 gallons of fuel, no bed cover. It weighed in a 7200. In tring to get lower use tags I removed my tail gate, spare tire and trailer hitch. With that I came in at 6920. This is for a 3500. 4x4 auto with six tires. Hopes this helps.

Bart,if you really need to remove more weight,the pass side battery can go,and the excab rear seat,if desperate,Ive seen guys pull off the inside dual wheels,these things together should remove almost 200 lbs. . The exhaust is heavy too,and its a good excuse to have an open pipe!

Snowman, does this mean I could get it down to a 1/2 ton 3500? I'd love to. Do you think I could get it under 4,000 pounds? LOL

On another subject. I have a friend who got a 8'6" by 20' tilt trailer in an auction (along with other stuff) and he gave it to me because I have the only vehicle with enough "huevos" to pull it. DODGE TO THE RESCUE!!!!!!!!!!!
