Truck Weight ?

Had my Crew Cab weighed yesterday at the feed mill. The truck weights in at 6450 lbs empty. That is with half a tank of fuel and the spare tire(my fat butt was not on the scale). If I remember correctly the crew cab use to weigh around 4800lbs when it was a D350 Gas/automatic truck. Can a Cummins/getrag/4X4/AC/Power windows/locks add 1500lbs ? What does a normal Cummins truck weigh in at ?

my 2001 weighs <>8000#. I went to get my 1970 3/4 4x4 crewcab this week end. truch and trailer weighed 13000# putting the truck at 7-8K# too so 6800# sunds about right.

Weighed mine 2 weeks ago at a truck stop. Bone stock with 3/4 tank of fuel and no one and nothing in it 7450 lbs. (see sig)

My dad has a 1980 D350 Crew Cab Daully with a 360(and only 65K miles) A few years ago I took a bed full of scrap medal to be recycled and it wieghed in at 5500 even with me in and one tank of fuel I think.



I keep telling him to put a Cummins in that thing. It has had the cam changed and has some good headers on it. It tows 10K just as good as my 24 valve does he just gets 6mpg doing it lol.
