It's been many years since I posted here, but I'm wrapped all full of codes and want to know if any of you good peeps know the "short" route solution for the following.
DBD gives the following codes
P0230 - Transfer Pump (Lift Pump) Circuit Out of Range
P1689 - No communication Between ECM and Injection Pump Module
P0336 - Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Signal
Basically, the problem for me is it won't always start. First suspect is the Lift Pump, but a new Lift Pump does not resolve the starting issue. Intermittant, therefore not reliable. When it does run, it runs fine... . no loss of power, no defueling, etc. , etc.
Anybody else experienced this problem? Disclosure - I'm running a 2001 motor in this truck. A fuel injector cracked on the original motor and caused the motor to grenade before I knew there was a problem. So, if my sig is still good, it's a 1999 with a 2001 motor.
Thanks in advance.
