Archived truck will not start

It died when driving. There is no fuel pressure before or after the filter. I just put on a new lift pump and still no fuel pressure. I need the truck buy tuesday. I will not take it back to the dealers.

Is the fuel tank empty? Dont trust the fuel guage,the senders go out frequently on these trucks. Id add 5 gallons of fuel and try again. if thats no good,check all the fuel lines to see if they got crushed,if they are good-drop the tank /or remove the bed to get access to the sender,and pickup assy. Usually with a plugged sock,you can blow back with compressed air,and it will work again for a little while.

The tank is full i had fuel up 1 hour before the truck died.

Maybe you got a load of algae filled fuel? ,and it plugged your sock solid. Just a guess,but something is plugging up the sock in the tank,and it diodnt happen until 1 hr after the fill up-better go back to that station,and see if they will cover it IF they are responsible.

some more info there is no power to the lift pump. I think the ECM i dead. I am going to get the mopar one order on Monday.

have you checked your fuses in the power distribution box?

I have checked all fuse and relays. This is why i think it is the ecm. The last month or two the truck had a stumble at 2100rpm. :-{} :-{} :{ :{ :{

I had a similar problem shortly after refueling once. It turned out to be a load of bad fuel that had plugged up my filter. I ended up changing the filter three or four times before all of the bad fuel was gone. I had not traveled far from the gas station when it died the first time. I thought of all kinds of reasons why before I started with the simple filter change first. When I pulled off the filter it was easy to see what the problem was, the fuel was like jelly it was so thick.

I put power to the lift pump and the pump works fine. There is no power to the pump at all from the ecm or where ever it gets power from.
