Well, last night my truck wouldn't start. It would fire a couple of times but it acted more like when you change a fuel filter before the filter housing is full up and fully primed. My FASS pump would just run and run. That led me to believe that I lost the prime somehow so I opened the drain on the housing and let some fuel out just to see if any was in there. I tried to start it again and it fired right up. I ran it hard on the way home and my rail pressure was the same as it has always been. I don't know about my lift pump pressure because I just switched to a new gauge with an isolator and I can't get it to bleed properly so now it just reads 0. It won't start today at all. I did have a funny thing happen yesterday. When I started my truck my Attitude display started warning me so I looked over at it and all of the readings were jumping around like crazy. I shut the truck off and started it again and everything was fine. Last night when the truck wouldn't start I cycled the key three times and came up with a code. It was PO514 which is battery temp sensor rationality. That is the first and only code I have ever gotten out of this truck. I don't know if that is a coincidence or not but I think it has more to do with the Attitude displaying weird info than the starting problem I have now.

For the record I have blended #2 in it with some white PS, 4 oz. of 2 stroke ashless injection oil and 4 oz. of Howe's Meaner Kleener. The fuel filter is a 7u Fleetguard Stratopore from Geno's and was just changed about 150 miles ago with the oil.

Any clues? TIA.

Just tried to start it again after draining the filter housing, which didn't have much in it. Tried the key cycle again and this time I get PO 191.

You are probably right Bob. I was trying to start the truck with no fuel basically and then running the key without starting or running the engine.

Anywho, I R&R'd stuff until the process exposed the EZ. I think it's the switch and I'm pretty sure I'm the cause. Anyway I'm sending the Juice in as well as the EZ. Both are version 1. 0 and I'm getting the Hot done on the Juice.

All is well now that the EZ is off the truck. The switch fell apart in my hand when I took it out. Pretty sure that's the reason. I don't want to take the EZ apart and void the warranty.

At first I thought the FASS quit pumping but it didn't make sense that it would be that. Then I thought maybe the CP3 was crapped out and then the FCA and then the rail relief valve but none of those made any sense either. When I did get it started last night the rail pressure was fine and today once I got it started and running the rail pressure is right where it is supposed to be only a little less with the EZ off of there.

From how I understand these new FASS, the CP3 CAN pull fuel past them, unlike the OE LP... so it should start and run even with a dead FASS.

That's good info to know about the fuel being able to be pulled past the FASS. Stuff is headed back to Edge now. I can't wait for it to come back. :-laf Oo.
