Truckin for Kids & Diesel Drags, Info???

Anyone have any up to date info. on this event? Went last year & had a great time.



I went to the Truckinforkids.com website but, it looks like it's just 18-wheeler related. Is it going to be like last years event? I understand it's in Fontana, CA. , this year.



I'd really like to go, this year, but, have no concrete information. Looks like it may be Sept. 23 & 24, '06. But, I'm not sure.



Any info. or links, other than the above mentioned one, would be greatly appreciated.

I got on the website, you gave me, & the California Raceway/Auto Club Dragway website & it looks like this years event will be just one day, Sun. Sept. 24, '06. Am I correct is assuming this to be true?



Last years event was on a Sat. & Sun. & the gates were open for campers on Fri. night. I had a great time seeing all you guys, the vendors, the trucks & the racing. I was hoping this event would be similar.



I'm thinking about bring the travel trailer, again. How are the temperatures in Fontana this time of the year? Is it hot, day & night? Do you need A/C? Would I be better off staying in a motel?

It is pretty hot right now but not quite up there with Phoenix I think I would Hotel it for just the one day event,

Well,



It was a hurry up and wait day, however, I enjoyed the company and the event. My fastest time was 15. 15 which equates to about 426hp. Not bad for the smarty on SW6 (130hp) and the TST on 4/0. Towards the end of that run I bumped the TST to 9/0 and pegged the egt's.
