I lined up to stage only to see I had to race MADDOG!I was

amazed how fast his truck really was!!!My 03 runs 15. 8's and he left me like I was stopped to watch the show!!!I We all watched maddog make history on sat. with a 11. 8 then back it up with a 11. 6. My wife said the fans in the stands were all floored that a diesel could be that fast!!!Then u have Jim Spenser per forming full length burn outs!What a crowd pleaser. Last We all want to Thank Kenny And his lovely wife of Turbo Auto Diesel a big thank you,he brought the Nicest race trailer/shop I have seen. Then he and his wife fed all of diesel heads both days.

How did the NW Boys do?

I must say for a 7200lb truck congrats go to Maddog. That 11. 6 was a very impressive run. Now just think if that truck shed some weight and maybe a little blue bottle... ... . scary. I didnt get to spend much time at the track, but I heard Opie was in the 12. 3 range. These runs were very impressive considering the 96Deg temps.

It was HOT!!!

One of the track officals said track temps. were 102 on sat. After maddog lost his front driveshaft we were amazed what 1100 lbs. of torque (est. ) could do,to twist off a u-joint when your 3/4 down the track. It was one for the history books!!

Is there a place I can go to view the results from this event? I thought there were going to be hundreds of trucks, show-n-shine, etc...

I would at least like to see the bracket results as I had intended to go to this one but couldn't make it.

It might be a good thing you didn't go. In my first round of the brackets the wind shifted and I smoked the lights resulting in a red light. Well they wouldn't let me run again . There were a lot less racers than I expected and we were told that the attendence was less than previous years. I think we might try to go to Tucson next year instead.

Nathan,it was great to see you at the truckin nationals. People tend to be awed by 12 sec. diesels,thanks for headin our way to compete. It seems we'll be up at vegas in Nov. and you can find that run you were cheated out of.

Bummer about the red light Nathan... Smoking the lights is something I've been concerned about all year, but haven't had happen yet. I know DHRA has regulations about that; I guess the smart guys have stacks, but I don't want to cut my bed...

We had a similar problem in Vegas with a tail wind affecting the lights. I guess a stack is a pretty good option for fixing that, and maybe keeping the starters a little happier.

It only really hurts if you do it yourself! I let someone else cut mine!























ok I still :{ but the stacks look great, sound awsome, and my truck gets double takes all the time!Oo.

I Agree with Got Smoke... ... One of the best mods I have done to my truck was the Stacks!!! Sounds cool and you get ton's of approval's from the Gassers and soccer moms!! No more upturned noses!
