Over there, too.

Blowin Smoke Trucking Co..... c'mon over and sign up as a driver---I'm a driver with them, good group of guys from all kinds of diesel sites.

ok some of you guys know that a bunch of us guys from a few sites play the simulated truck driving game Trukz and this is our off site forum Dodge Truckin Worldwide

and if anybody else wants to join we have a contract over in europe right now to haul mobile homes we got it then the supplier disappeared and we have been waiting for a supplier so we can finish the contract

its gonna be hard as we will have three days to haul 150 loads and we have only 50 members which of some of those 50 some cant and some wont fly to europe to help us ( its a money thing i guess)

so even if u guys dont want to play full time and even if you think it is stupid than maybe u could join and help us finish this contract

the cargo will change tonight at midnight and then we hope for a close supplier so we have a chance to finish this contract and if it is a far supplier there is no chance ( without extra help)

and even if some of u guys belong to a different company and will just come over for a couple days to help that would even be awesome

if anybody decides to help just join the trukz site and request to join dodge truckin worldwide then before u choose any cargo go to the off site forum and read/get some info on where we need to haul from

actually u might want to join the off site forum first and wait to find out where the new supplier will be then u can make your home right there and save any plane ticket cost

shoot me a email with any questions -- email address removed --

Been playing for about a month now.
Running with Canadian Freightways in Europe now.

Got a pretty nice rig loaded out now with a pretty good amount of cash in my pocket.

DonMartin,

Can't do much to help you but wishing you guys the best.

The Teamsters company completed three contracts at one time---was a huge event for a while over there.

I signed up

I signed up tonight,

My handle is Big block

I already am in deep doo-doo, got 3 overweight tix in chico already... LOL

I thought 50K was legal... It is in my rig.

I did drive "15" hours on the first run, though.

E7 out

Been playing for a month now. . Stupid POS freightliner of mine been breaking down quite a bit lately... #@$%! sorta like my Dodge ! LMFAO! Swear that game must've been set up by some brokers, judging from the rates they are paying! :p I go by Troublemaker over there!

Just signed up over there running as BumperSticker. I have 3 runs so far, still in the beater truck. Wish I knew how much to trade up. I'll keep the beater for now as I am just learning the game.

P. S. Can't find mention of BlowinSmoke Company

AC, a couple of tips to get you rolling:

Check out the cargo statistics and run the cargo with the red asterisks. The stats change every Monday and Thursday morning. Find a prime cargo with supply and demand cities nearby and you can make good money with the beater rigs.

Get new tires for the truck as soon as you can, and then perform a repair. Your top speed will increase to something a bit more useful.

Get on with a company that does a bunch of contracts. I'm with Canadian Freightways. My first contract run (right after I got the tires) was from the southeast to Alaska, and I netted about $10k. That was an immediate upgrade to the '97 W900, plus some extra goodies. Also with the larger companies you'll get discounts on truck, parts, and fuel purchases.

5 mph over will never get you a ticket (but always obey the top weather speed).

My handle is Smokin Diesel (I know, not very original... )

Did you do the Alaska run with the beater truck?

Good advise on the tires. I will check that out. Not much cash yet, and, I just had two breakdowns in two legs.

No worries yet on the tickets, top speed is 47.

Thank You, I will take all the advice I can get.

I kinda skipped the real beater trucks. I started with the 89 Volvo (the second time anyway - I reset my driver after 3 days). I took out a loan for $1k right off the bat and got it when it was only $6k. It is now $6,100, so you'd have to take out a second loan of $100. You can get loans up to $1k a day for 3 days, so if you have the patience to wait a day to get a truck to start out, you can still pull it off. Or if you can get hired on to a company that has a truck purchase discount (i. e. CF) you can get the truck for 10% (I think) less. But yeah, with that truck and a set of tires I ran to Alaska. With the sub-55mph trucks I don't think you could pull it off without late fees.

Also, you can run in the red with fuel and repairs. So you can start a run with $0 and run a negative balance along your route (like a credit card). So as soon as you can afford the tires (maybe with a loan) you can buy them and head back out on a run with nothing in your pocket.
