Need more Arizona ideas please???

I was wondering if any of you guys were going to Trucking Nationals in Phoenix at Firebird Raceway? I go down every year, or try to at least. It's October 15th/16th.

I'm thinking about entering my truck, not that it is anything super nice compared to most of those trucks, but I like it and figure, I'm gonna be there, people might as well check out my truck, maybe they'll like it. I'll be proudly displaying my TDR sticker and wondered if any of you other guys would be around. The application has a space for any truck clubs you belong to, I'm not sure why exactly, but I thought maybe if they had a couple of us they'd put us out there together.

I think this would be a great way to advertise the TDR, especially with the "TDR Test Drive" thing right now. Or maybe you guys already do this and I've just been missing it. Anyway, I'll have to get some more applications to take down there with me if I do enter my truck, see if maybe we can't pick up some more guys for the TDR.

If anybody knows who I need to contact to get more apps and to make sure there aren't any specific guidelines or restrictions, I'd appreciate the help.

When you say "enter your truck", is that in a show-and-shine or racing? I'll probably be there if I'm still in the area. I haven't heard anything about this, is there a diesel drag class?

If I do it I'll do the show and shine, not planning on winning anything just figured I'd get it out there and promote TDR, I'm gonna be there anyway. I used to drag race, always seem to break something, it's also my driver, can't afford that! There is a class for diesels though. Here is the address for Firebird raceway, doesn't say much though.

If nothing else, it's $50 bucks to enter the truck and it includes 2 entry passes for the weekend. It's cheaper than entering as a spectator if you have 2 people @ $38/person and $7/day parking. For 2 you're looking @ $90, and besides, you get a free t-shirt with your registration. If you have more people that want to come it's an additional $17. It's a pretty good show, there has been more and more diesel stuff every year. If you're gonna be out there racing or show and shine let me know.

Me And A Few Of My Buddies Are Planning On Heading There. My Truck Has Too Many Little Dings And Dents To Enter For Anything But I'll Be There.

I have a couple of good door dings but I'm probably still going to enter, it's cheaper and you get to go to a party on Friday night. I have to double check a few things first but I'll probably still enter, either way I'll definately be there.
