Renegade 5th wheel to gooseneck conversions

Looking for an aluminum gooseneck?

does anybody hire there trucks out for towing items. much like the big rigs but on a smaller scale? if so how do you charge and what do you tow? also how is your truck set up(specs). fifth wheel/tag/goose?trailer rating?reg. weights truck and trailer. thanks,

There were some threads on this subject, in this forum, not all that long ago. As I recall, there are a lot of expenses involved, especially very high insurance rates, licenseing, equipment, etc. It seemed like working for an already established company might be the best way to go. But, there are some limitizations there, also. Some companies won't let you have more than 500,000 miles on your truck, which, is easy to do. Some require you to have a reasonably new truck. I believe there is a thread on here right now that pertains to "hotshoting". There were links to some of the companies that provide this service and they tell you what their requirements are.
