Looking for feed back on this air filter mod. Did you get any performance gains? Any one using one please feel free to give input on the pros and cons on this system or others. Drive in pretty dusty conditions 6months of the year. I like the idea of keeping the system enclosed.

Just got mine. Not even installed yet. I'm taking a trip at the end of the month. I'll let you know my initial thoughts when I get back.

PM Diesel Nut he has answered a lot of my questions and helped me a lot. Don't know what mods you plan on doing but he saved me a ton of $$$ since I don't plan on going all out right now(warranty), He sells the things and could have told me anything, but he didn't nor do I think he would to anyone else. He can tell you what you need to know.

I had just a true-flow drop in. I hated it, cleaning it took too long, had to let it dry out for two days. My oil samples (silicon) came back a lot higher with the true-flow compared to the amsoil ea filter. I like the amsoil filter a lot better, nice tight seal, no oil, and I can clean it with water or compressed air.

I run the True Flow drop in filter,,, one thing is for sure,, the filter minder does not pull down. I do not live or operate in dusty conditions. Past that,,, I would not purchase the intake kit from True Flow.

Filter

I have had one for several months. It seems to work well. No oil samples pulled or anything like that, but it seems like a good filter. It seals up very well. I am removing it, though as I have a BHAF and outerwears cover comming. The stock airbox looks like crap IMO.
