Help!!! I'm sure someone has a neat, clean, tricky way to change out the driver's side headlight bulb on a '96!!! I spent an hour on it this morning, and still can't figure it out short of pulling the battery. I got the locknut for the wiring harness loose no problem, but then what? Do you pull furiously until the harness lets loose (or your shoulder)? Or is it a twist-off arrangement?

I have the Service Manual CD and it doesn't help one single bit. I even called a buddy who is a Dodge mechanic. He just groaned and said, "Even I can't do those without difficulty. "

I tried coming in from the headlight side also. I took everything loose I could find and the headlight is still firmly in place.

I think I use to pull the bulb out with the plug attached. Then I would separate it from the bulb. It pulls off NO twisting. And Patience Jeff

Never a problem either, just pull it out.

Since you messed around with the screws in front your headlight may now be out of adjustment though.
