I have a 2001 3500 cab and chassis with the 163" wheelbase. I was looking for fuel tanks that fit outside the fram under the flatbed I have, now I'm looking for any auxillary tank that either fits under the bed outside the frame or that sits on the bed. I've seen a few but most people want around 700 for a 100 gallon tank. Anyone know where I can find aux tanks?

Tractor Supply Company (TSC) all over my state has quite a good selection of farm type auxiliary tanks... those are the kind you fill up to take out to a tractor or machinery in the field... but I suppose they could be rigged to make your own low-buck transfer flow #ad

Check out farm supply stores near you if you can.

Frank: Brians got the right idea. I went to Tractor Supply and bought a Delta 36 gal. tank and installed it right behind my cab in the bed. It takes up 9" and works like a dream. I paid TSC $200 for the tank and by the time I bought the rest of the hardware to complete the job I had spent another 30 bucks. So for 230 gasmolleans I now have 70 gallons of fuel. If you decide to go that route, blip me and I will tell you how I did it. Good luck, Barry... ... ... .

does anyone have the 60 gal tool/fuel combo from Northern tool?

After seeing all the prices, I went ahead and ordered one. . For the price, you cant beat it. . That will give me 96 gallons when full.
