Trying to save post to desktop ?

I'm not sure if its at my end or not but when someone puts up a post that has some info that I'ld like to keep and I try to save to desktop , then go to it later to print or read it is not the post in the form that I last faw it in , its in what I would call text with no pictures and whatever and no longer has much value , I'ld like some help in trying to get post to desktop in its origanal state , thanks.

Go to thread tools, select "show printable version", when new window opens up go to "file" & select "save as", give it a name that is meaningful keep the ".htm" extension, then enter. Once saved then you can double click and it will open in your browser.
