TSB check......?

I tried to look up this "TSB" that allegedly came out on 06/09/2021. Can't find it anywhere. TSB 18-054-21

Read on another board it has something to do with the 19-20 injector pump. If bogus, let me know.

Guess the copyright deal is holding it back, it's a funky pdf deal. Probably not allowed to post them from what the thing says.

Either way, it goes over the customer complaint and list some codes, need to have both to pass go and start the TSB.

Customer might have the following DTC:
Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low
Low Pressure Fuel System Pressure- Too Low
Inj 1 thru 6 Circuit/Open

Customer also might notice the engine does not start.

Looks like the same old same old on the known pump failures, not much new stuff. Same stock photos of the metal in the FQS shot that have been around for sometime.

It really goes into the warranty steps for Fuel contaminated and how to check that with links to other procedures.

If you pass all that.......

Basically remove Fuel Quality Sensor, is there debris, go to next step.

They list 2 kits that can be ordered one for the SO and HO engines. That include a bunch of the normal stuff injectors, rail, tubes, a pump, engine filter, not included in the kit lift pump, frame mounted filter, CCV gasket and banjo washer.

No mention of pump part number or the pump being a different model.

Then has a basic overview of the repair procedure.

Not that I can tell, no new data points, same stock photos.

Maybe those parts kits are new, one number gets you a bunch of stuff? And they just took the opportunity to list it all in one TSB.

But not even a hint that the pump could be different, it's a decent parts list for sure and they let them know what's not in the kit.

I would say be super careful with your fueling it mentions a few time Fuel contaminants are typically not covered. DEF and the sort. Says to test the fuel.

It says the lift pump is not included but if needed follow its warranty procedure steps.

But yeah not much we did not know or have seen from folks.passing on failures.
