I talked to a former Dodge dealership the other day and he said you'd probably have to modify the torsion bar also.



Does that make any sense?



Let us know what you find out, because I would much rather level mine by by lower the back. :p

Sorry about the tongue deal... I'm just gonna stay away from those emoticons when I haven't got my glasses on.



I crawled under my truck and was looking at the torsion bar, and it seems that lowering it is going to flatten the front t-bar angle and raise it a little behind the axle. I can't quite get my mind around how that would affect its function, if at all. Worst case, you could shorten the t-bar to frame connecting arms as needed.



Probably doesn't make a difference at my level of driving.



I suppose you need to change your shocks with the new height?
 
well I've driven the truck from central La. to Miami Fla. still no stange vibes. yay!! As you said, at the level a dodge cummins 4x4 is driven I haven't noticed any difference in handling with the different angle on the sway bar. I did not change shocks, I figured I'd hit the bump stops before the shocks bottomed out. As far as shortening the sway bar links maybe you could just get a set from a 2wd if you're really concerned.
