I really think Dodge did it the hard way, by changing the hose with a hose and a big metal weight. I just Ty wrapped the two hoses togeather real good and tight, and this took care of the problem. You might want to give it a try.

My "03" goes in this week for the VIBRATION issue. I first talked to the dealer about this when the truck had about 2000 miles... but no luck fixing. The dealer now says that the problem will be corrected with the TSB that was put out.

They will also be replacing all the cab light gaskets due to a leak coming into the cab (around the passenger side visor) as well as over 4 hours of work to fix the heater that will not blow on the floor. The last issue was the gasket on the tailgate light that came apart... this requires the entire light to be replaced.

Even with these problems I still love my RAM!

My 03 does not have this hose and my dealer insists that my truck is not eligible for the tsb by VIN number. how can i convince him to do it? He "wondered" out loud if he could replace it if it had a pin hole leak in it. That is not quite my style, I just want them to fix it.

My dealer couldn't find the TSB for HO's but did for SO's. Then they looked up the part number of the hose and found it is for both. That was all it took for them to be convinced it applied to the HO as well.

I have put on the tsb weights that were for a 94 intrepid ac hose drone on both power steering lines on my 03 and fixed the steering wheel vibration. I been seeing alot of front axle vibrations around 70 to 78 mph. plus we have been installing after market adjustable ball joints we've getting from a company in illinoise that are made for 03 and newer trucks and our zone rep have gave us permission to install them under warranty. If any on is intrerested,I can get the name and address to the company and you can pass that on to your dealer to have them installed. The dealer you go to will have to get permission from their zone rep. That should not be a problem since ball joints are a lot cheaper that replacing entire front axle. Plus when the 03 first came out we installed axle assemblies on 4 truck and still had the pull.

Are these joints greasable? I'd be interested in the name/address of the company. Just PM me if you don't want to post it in here...

My truck did the same thing, its like the gasket just fell apart under the rear light. I think when I take it in finally, the Tech, a friend of mine, will have a full days work to do... :D
