I'm looking for the tsb that ups the trailer circuit amps from 15 to 20 on my 06. Is that correct? I'm taking mine in for the rollover valve hoses and want to get some flashes done at the same time. I'm just doing this because I heard it may be needed. Is it really needed? I haven't had any issues with my trailer wiring. Thanks.

Thx. Will they do this even before any problems have occured (codes thrown)? If it raises the amps up (like I've heard, but not confirmed), it sounds like a good thing for circuit protection.

I personally think that DC has jumped off the deep end with this... . you almost have to use a glasses to see the wire in the wiring harness..... I can remember a customer who kept burning the wiring harness out of his Buick... . the factory hadn't made the wiring heavy enough and a direct short at the tail light wouldn't blow the fuse... instead the wiring would heat up and melt the loom... after 3 or 4 looms... melted from a connector in the trunk to the dash, where the tiny wire was used we found the problem... up grading the amp draw on a circuit without changing the wire sometimes is not a good thing... Plus having to go to the dealer to reset it makes me wonder what you do on a Saturday night at 10 pm on the freeway in the middle of no where when your trailer lights go down and won't come back... .
