TSB on Vent for '03

There apparently is a door that closes to change the air from the defrost (windshield vent) to the floor vents.



Mine seems to be broken or not working correctly because I am not getting hardly any heat out of the floor vents - it is still coming out at the windshield (gets so hot you can't breath but your feet are still frozen)



I seem to remember a TSB about this and a replacement part that is supposed to fix it.



How do TSB's work? My warranty is out (60K) but since this is a known problem I think they should still fix it.



What is the TSB # for this - if there is one or is my memory going? And will they still fix it?

A TSB is not a reacall, let us know how it goes, I bet you have to pay all or some ... ... ... unless you throw a huge fit, lol.

I've read about this a bit as well. Mine got stuck once, but has worked flawlessly before and since. I mentioned it the last time I was in to try to get the suspect part replaced before 36k goes by. They "could not duplicate, and acted unaware of a tsb or a problem (surprise). I do remember it being an involved process that is likely very expensive once out of warrantee.
