TST - 05 NO power

Ok. My cousin just at TST box for his 05. It is install and stacked with an MP-8 and makes little to NO power even all the way up to 9x9.



Any ideas?

My guess?



It has to do with the wastegate - What did you do with the electronic WG?



And do you have it grounded right? (only one ground, and that goes to the interior metal dash frame for best results)

The wastgate line didn't come with his TST. Do you think that is causing the issue? He ran an older version of the TST 2 weeks about with out the wastegate mod an the truck had tons of power in the 5-6 settings.

i am buying a tst from a guy who had mp8 and tst and blew and injector on an 05 and if your buddy has an auto be warned a buddy of mine is waiting or full ats after he ripped the heart out of his stock flexplate with just a crazy larry :--)

If you run a box with boost fooling on an '04. 5 and up with the electronic WG, you have to run a new boost source (from a boost bolt or whatever) to the WG to control boost. If you don't you can hit 50psi or more since the PCM never sees high boost (because of the box fooling it) so it never opens the WG. Just by installing my TST and leaving it set on 0/0 I could hit 45psi boost without a proper WG boost source. With a manual boost controller I have run as high as 8/5 with boost solid at 35psi.

Seem the issue was releated to the P0628 code.
