TST 11 performance question

I am running a #11 PLATE AND AFC KIT IN MY 97 5 SPEED. IT seems to work real good, But I am wondering if I am getting the designed performance. Boost pegs out a 32 pound gauge. max temp. is about 900 degrees Pre Turbo, in 4th gear, pulling hard uphill with a 14000 trailer in tow. the plate was installed per instrctions and the spring is nearly all the way forward. should I be loking for more out of this setup?

900 is too low for max. The max should go around 1400 or maybe more with your set-up.

Sounds about the same as my #11s. My boost & EGTs will get up higher but I'm running a bigger turbo and pulling heavier loads.

i get higher EGT's with a stock paper airfilter. I use a well maintained & properly sealed K&N, and see lower egt's with it. You might get a little more excitement if you slide that plate toward the radiator about 1/16" too.

Thanks for the input. I am still learning this stuff! I neglected to include that I am also running a KandN filter and 4 inch exhaust from the turbo back without the cat. and straightthrough muffler. does this put the temps I see in the right neighborhood?.
