Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) TST #6 plate installed.

My boost has gone from 18 to 26 after I got the 6 plate in. I only get smoke at WOT. I see no increase in smoke untill I get over 24 psi. I'm going to adjust the star wheel today. My egts max out at 1100 and run 800 in the hills running 75 mph empty. The engine is not sluggish, boost and egt climb much faster now. Its a new truck, I have found my passing power.

I get a puff of black smoke when I get on it now. It's much more responsive, the slug is no more. I wonder how long the trans will last.

Only 32k on this transmission? Should last awhile longer. Might look at a VB at least for now but be thinking about replacing the VB/TC in the near future - or - tow light and keep your foot out of it... .
