I currently have the #8 plate in my 12 valve, but was considering paying the $50 and trading it in for the #6, however, I wonder if it would be better just to slide the #8 forward. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. "Gotta love Cummins"

Does the TST plate say anything on them that ID's what they are? I have a 96 DC and the cover on the Big-P has been removed by previous owner. I don't know what I have. Can I tell stock from TST if I look?

If you take the AFC cover off look at the plate without removing it. The stock has a couple of visable rivit heads and the after market is smooth. If it's a TST it will have a large number on the top.

Have you called Mark Chapple, or emailed him? When I had some questions about my #6 plate, he responded very quickly. I also think that he'll work with people on trade-ups for a different plate. I don't know if there's a time limit or any restriction on the trade.
