Well I can see why everyone is hooked, I got the plate today(Sitting on the porch when I got home) so I cooled the truck off while watching the install video, Install was ok except for that breakoff bolt(What a pain) I got it back together as the instuctions said, I had 20 clicks on the star wheel so I put it back to what is was before starting. Install was easy except for the above, I broke the hand impact driver but got it all tight(info... buy a good one) so finished up, fired up and check for leaks then the road test, a little to much smoke still (AFC slid all the way forward) felt good initally so I tried the stall(2500 on the brake) let go and instantly went to smoke(Tires) try 45 MPH and moving 10. So I tried it again this time at 5 LBS left good still a little too much smoke so I cooled it off adjusts it 10 clicks off, this time I left rolling the next time and hammered it went to 2600 and stayed there(3k gov springs needed) let it shift then OD and lock up
a different world, looked up EGT/Boost and down... 95 MPH like that, (on a 2 lane it seems faster). Needless to say I'm pleased, I just didn't realize these motors were so under powered. Thanks to TST and the members of TDR for all the info and tips you passed along to me.
