Just installed the TST Powermax CR R-49 with timing advance. OK so you guys with the box are saying you can get smoke. HOW???? Turned it up to 9 and got a LITTLE puff. LMAO

Probably started to slip the transmission and it defueled on you. Not sue whatever happened to that issue. Early on TST and the Dodge ECM on the autos did not get along. TST would say more fuel, DODGE ECM would see trans slip and say less fuel.
I can make it smoke when in gear. I am guessing that the factory ECM is not allowing more then 15 psi of boost when the truck is not in a drive gear so it wont smoke in park or neutral. And for slipping they transmission I dont think I have slipped it yet when I turn up the TST I dont put the pedal down more then half way and I dont do it from a stop I am always moving above 20 or so.
If you have the standard TST program it will not begin to fuel until 12lbs. Boost is load dependent. Meaning if there is no load on the engine, it will not build much boost if any at all. That is why it smokes in gear and not in neutral.
