It is in my signature, but basically just the TST/EZ stack. Last year at Diesel Thunder in Spokane TST 4/4, EZ 2 it dynoed 439hp, 860tq. Since then I have upgraded my transmission so I can turn the boxes higher this year. Still have to be careful as I am still running the stock turbo.
 
tst has a new box on the way with pressure, duration and timing. no ez stack needed.

plus it has the turbo timer built in and adjustable timing.

For now the TST is the better of the two for the obvious reason of the smarty is not out yet...



BUT, when the Smarty is out... I will have both and will most likely stack them together. Then I can adjust with the TST...



BTW, the TST/EZ stack is good for 500+ hp all day long. .
 
3rd gen. Smarty

After experiencing the enhanced driveability,decent power increase(over and above my EZ) and fuel saver setting,I'd wait a little while. If Marco's claim of no "imprint" is true,you will not be your own warranty station if driveability problems occur.

you will have to call tst, that is how I found out! they are making a new box with more input/outputs and new harness to make it work. no release date yet!

Power will be the TST with 160HP+ and Smarty at 55HP Maybe less.

The 3rd Gen smarty will not be limited to EZ type power . Totally diferent fuel systems. The Ecm controls fuel pressure,duration and timing on the common rails,not so on the 2nd gens where the Vp-44 limits total fueling available with its own piggy backed fuel control module.

The 3rd gen smarty should be a very exciting option when it become available.

How did you find this out????



Did you talk to Marco directly, who promised more then 60hp????



BTW the EZ for the totally different fuel system from the cp3 is still only 60hp... .



We all hope for more then 60 but where did you come with your statement?????
 
I Didn T State That In My Thread , Some One Else Did , I Was Trying To Find Out How Much Horsepower Will Be On The Smarty Tuners For The 2004. 5 325/600 Motor

That's a good question! Smarty will deal with the torque management, no doubt! Lower horsepower gains? I DON'T THINK SO!



See, the second gen Smarty squeezes out everything possible from the VP without "tapping the wire". The Hp limit is the VP not Smarty.



Things are somewhat different with the common rail system. Much more power can be gained than with a VP... .

The Ez does not modify the ECM maps ;) Be patient... ... ... good things come to those that wait.

some how i keep getting email from you and marco 's , i haven t said one thing on how much power they will make , i m trying to find that out myself
