24v injector reccomendation?

Any 4" exhaust that's quieter than stock setup

I considered it. I even talked to a person named 'Mark' over there. Not sure if it was Mark who owns TST, or just an employee but whoever it was told me that their clutch will chatter "some" and that guys that haul livestock didn't like it. FWIW Peter @ SBC has a ConO for the 6 speed now that is less expensive than the OFE if you don't plan to be above about 350 rwhp.

I run it. It does chatter some. I used to start out in 2nd gear, now I use first most of the time. I also have to use my 2LO when backing a load. But it hooks up, (quick), and stays hooked up. I will probably go with SBC next time, if it ever wears out. By the way, my sig isn't updated, but I put a #10 plate in this weekend, and my test drive didn't even phase the clutch. Noticed some slippage in 2-3 shift, but I think it was tires. :D

Nothing against TST personally, but I dislike my TST clutch. To grabby for me.

Extreme chatter on 2nd gear take offs. Really shudders the truck, but then again the advertisement for the clutch state's "its either in or out"

If I had to do it again I would have saved another $100 and bought a South Bend Clutch. Looks like I may have too:(

I ran the TST clutch in my 6-speed and loved it! Yes, it was grabby, and hard to back up a load unless I was in 4low, but as far as on-highway, it was great!

It just takes a little bit of learning. If you feather the clutch a little on takeoff, chatter is gone. It held everything I threw at it @ 422 horsepower, loaded to the gills with the overload springs inverted... never slipped once. I had 30,000 miles on it when I traded transmissions and the clutch had ZERO wear. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I dealt with Mark at TST... Great guy! Willing to help 120%

Kris did you install the PP and the clutch disk or just the disk?

I talked with Rob Thomas as well as you before decided on mine and Rams-N-Hogs PM'd me warning me about the shudder Rob said he never experienced it

Didn't dawn on me till just the other day (clutch has been in nearly 2mo) Rob just installed the clutch disk, and not the FREAK'N HUGE pressure plate:rolleyes: duh!

GotSmoke,

When you put your's in, did you notice any change to your idle? After mine was installed, it seems like my idle got heavier, if that makes sense. It's a slightly rougher idle, barely noticeable, but it doesn't feel like it's in the engine. Almost like the p-plate is TOO heavy. Above idle, it's undetectable.

Sorry it took so long to get back... I used the original pressure plate. I just bought the disc.

That's why me and "Ramns-N-Hogs" have such bad shudder on 2nd gear takeoffs. That dang HEAVY @$$ pressure plate!

I believe if the pressure plate was a little less built that it wouldn't have such a grabby effect.

It is perfect for turning over the tires thought!;) :D :-laf
