All I can say is wow! I just my Power Max 3 adjustable back from Mark on Friday after he reprogrammed it with the competition program. Can't say enough about it. Not only is the low end power 100% better than with the PM 3, but EGT's seem to run a little cooler due to improved boost. Any of you guys out there with a PM 3 need to look into this. I'm still trying to wipe this stupid grin off my face. :D

Hey how smooth is your comp version. I have had the comp version box for about a year now (never had any other version) My only complaint is it is very touchy. I get nasty defuel shutter when lifting off the throttle. I heard Mark has new programming that makes it better, ive just been too busy to call and find out.

Love/hate

I love my TST comp. when set on anything at or below level 6. After that, I get a heavy defueling shutter and just don't get alot of enjoyment outta beating up the VP44. Mines piggybacked to the Edge EZ box. That, coupled with the step 5 injectors, is a real kick in the pants. I normally run with the TST on 0, when I want to put a small :) on my face I punch it up to level 2. Once in awhile I see level 6 and very seldom I set it on kill, for some electron NOS :D .

Big Saint,

I have the TST II. Can I piggyback the EDGE EZ onto it?

How much additional HP, torque, boost do you think it will add?

I also have 275 injectors.

ninearrow,

I had the PM 2 before I upgraded to the Comp, it was also piggybacked with a EZ, at the time I had stock injectors, it was a nice low end improvment, definatly noticable. Now with the Comp, I still have the EZ hooked up, along with DDIII's, very sweet!:D

Rob,

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't think my stock clutch could take the Comp and the Ez. I assume you have an aftermarket clutch?

Is the EZ simple plug and play? 10 minute install?

Thanks

Yes you can

What Rob said.

I just stacked my PM2 with and EZ and 275hp injectors and it's great. :) The only bad thing is my stock clutch doesn't like it very much. :p The guys a Black Mountain Diesel are going to take care of that for me though. :D You will like the extra low end the EZ gives and the added smoke is kinda fun to.

Just plug the EZ in before the PM2 and you are good to go.

I had my PM3 upgraded to the comp version and supposedly was told it had the upgraded software to help with the shutter.

It didnt help at all. Still shutters hard on levels 7-9.

My clutch can't handle anything above about 5, but I have noticed the shutter on 6. I don't dare turn it up any higher than that until I get my southbend clutch. Where I'm gonna get money for that I don't know.
