just a general question

engine light on, bad miss and no power

I've asked this before, but not long ago, I noticed a few people trying the TST/Crazy Larry/ez stack. Saw a few posts where that setup killed some engines. Now I see a few more running it and making huge power. Whats the negative effect of running this stack. I'm thinking of just running the TST/CL. My ez seems to be doing nothing.

I ran that stack last year for a while, dyno'd 522/930 at one event. I don't think I ever got the combo tuned right for optimum power like some have. I just did not feel comfortable with the downloader, so I ran with just the TST and EZ. Couple of weeks ago I downloaded the new Triple Dog version 2. 3. 0 to see how the Low End Power and Torque Management Delete worked. I removed my EZ completely to get more of a feeling how the downloader and TST were working together. I finally settled on loading the programs with the Low End Power option on and left Torque Management normal. The tow mode and TST 2/0 feels as strong as any combo setting with the TST/EZ. Truck is very responsive. Maybe get a chance to dyno some numbers after I get the BOV on and pressure relief valve fixed.

The only down side to removing the EZ is that I have lost on average 1. 5 mpg across all type of driving.

JVolpe,

Have you tried running a higher setting on the tst? I know all of these trucks respond differently than others but on mine it makes a big difference.

I know its been covered here before, but what is the correct way to do the TST/EZ stack? Stock harness into EZ harness. . then EZ into TST harness, and finally TST wiring into sensor on engine, correct?

So can the new torque management program be installed onto the older BDDL with the CL program? CL still isn't available for the triple dog, correct?

Probably over working the injector and making it crap out along with temps in the #6 being hotter than the rest. All that makes good for a cooked cylinder.

Correct.

Engine - tst - then ez - then stock wiring harness.

The idea is that you want the TST to see real values...

When I was racing last year I ran with the BDDL on Performance, TST 6/6 and EZ on 3. That produced a few p0088 codes before I am pretty sure it popped the pressure relief valve. It ran good (13. 2s 1/4), but got too hot at the end in OD locked up. Truck right now is running very good with the BD Triple Dog with low end power on and TST on 2/0. It has a lot of power on Performance and TST 4/2, also has a lot of smoke and barks the turbo constantly. Need new pressure relief valve and BOV, hopefully in a couple of weeks and then I can do some more playing.
