I reciently got myself a TST Powermax for Christmas and noticed that it has a flat spot at 2000 rpms. Anybody else experience this? Is there any solutions?

At what settings are you getting a flat spot?

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? Perhaps you're pulling your lift pump pressure down to zero. I can easily do that with my 6-speed with the box on 4x4. I would imagine you could pull it down even faster.

My truck feels like it has a flat spot, but what's actually happening is clutch slip. You may be feeling the same thing.

I have only had the box up to 5x4, but it's done it on a few combonations up to that level. I only had it on the truck for about 2 weeks before I took it off. It's like the box just shuts off for a second until it passes 2000 rpm.

I do have a fuel pressure gauge, and it showed 3psi at its lowest.

It definetly not transmission slip. I've got a full Suncoast setup.

I would suggest re-checking all the connections, especially the ground. If that doesn't work, perhaps you should order the bypass plug for $10 and send your box in to get checked out.

I've had a similar issue with my truck, but it was only while running the Bully Dog Triple Dog version 2. 0. 4 on the performance or extreme settings.

Truck runs perfect with the TST and the newer 2. 2. 2 software on the BDDL.

I have noticed that on my truck too, I think it's the CP3 losing rail pressure till it catches up with the wide duration of the TST.
