Just finished installing the R49 and the install wasn't too bad. I followed the instructions carefully. When I went to start the truck, it ran really rough and had a bad knock. I stopped the truck and put the Power Pup on stock. I restarted and there was less knock and ran a little better. The engine light is on and the water in fuel light is on. No RPMs when running, even if I give it lil bit of pedal. I checked the codes and: P0193 Fuel Rail High, P0341 Camshaft performance, P0340 Camshaft sensor, P0237 Boost low.

Did I screw something up? I used the bypass and it still ran rough. Any ideas?

Well sounds like you either have a bad wiring harness or a connector(s) not fully seated or switched. First visually check all wiring harness connections. If don't see anything wrong, then PITA, but I would remove the wiring harnesses and put everything back to stock checking each connector for bent pins, etc. Then see if it still has the problem. Then decide the next step.

Be sure the rail pressure sensor is hooked up correctly. If not, it will run weird like that... . or not run at all.

also try... .

Unplug the rail pressure sensors all together and try again... . some of them just don't work on trucks

What about plugging in the little dummy plugs that allows the harness to still be in place but the TST out to make sure its not the box also.

Check the rail pressure plugs, they are really easy to plug in wrong and will give the code, water in fuel and knocking you describe. There's an oval shape flat bump that goes into a matching slot on the connectors. The wedge shape bump goes to the retaining clip.

I installed the dummy plugs and no difference. I rechecked all the connections and everything was ok, except the white middle wire on the TST rail pressure sensor plug was pulled loose. The yellow rubber seal was out of place. I called TST and they said they're going to send me a new rail pressure harness. Also, I think my remote start is interfering with the TST. Got to put a resistor on the wire. I can't find the wire anywhere and the shop who installed it in '03 said they didn't install my alarm. Crooks! I have a Sidewinder alarm. It's a piece of junk.

for some reason my truck does NOT like the rail pressure on the TST, even of i turn it to off it still runs all screwy. so i dont use it. ive had a torque dog since day one and it works fine. try takin the pins out for the rail pressure and try it, 2 minute job.
