I am looking to purchase a TST box once they have some more in stock. Does anyone have install and/or user instructions I could look at prior to ordering? If they are in DOC or PDF that would be great. I am trying to get a idea of how hard of a install this will be. Also anyone have comments on with or without gauges? I am thinking to get the model with gauges more as a backup to what I already have. Does the TST come with the pyro and cable or would I need to add another pyro to use TST guages?

The TST sounds like it is the right product to serve my application for a long time. Not planning on using high setings as my vehicle is stock. Mark at TST had not recomended going over 6/3 for settings. I think I had read somewhere on the forum not to go over 3/3 with stock setup.

Thanks this site is the best... Jeff

Just got my TST yesterday. Man, what a box. If you order the digital gauges, it will come with the pyro. I have gauges so I went with the other controller and no pyro hookup. If you tow, I would get the gauges for the defueling feature. The installation took about an hour and was nothing too complicated. I would say the pyro might add a half an hour. Lay under your truck and practice taking the crank position sensor plug off. You have to slide the little red tab to one side, and then depress another tab on the plug to slide it apart. Once you figure that out, the rest is a piece of cake. The cam plug is in a tight location, but mine came apart pretty easy. I coated all plugs with a little dialectic grease. You're gonna love it.

I called TST and they sent me the install directions via fax - looks like a cut and dry install - they were friendly and helpful - try giving them a call the install directions on their web page is for the older engines... .

What have you been running the TST on for settings? What temps have you seen? Is your pyro pre turbo?

Did you have the AFE prior to TST? Did you install the AFE down pipe or are you still using stock piece?

Thanks... I can't wait getting anxious

My DiPricol EGT is pre-turbo. I set it on 5/3 on the freeway today and on a short hill I got it up to 1200 but I was approaching 90 at an astonishing rate and backed out. I usually run about 5-550 degrees on the flats cruising. I have had the AFE for about 15000 miles without the torque tube. I was going to get it but after hearing the prices, you can make your own and save a few bucks. Upon further examination, I do not think the stock pipe is that restrictive. Yeah it has an X in it, but what does that hurt. Sort of a built in tag. If I want noise, I roll down the window, but with the windows up my truck is pretty quiet inside. I find 3/1 on the box to be plenty of power for running around normally and is pretty hard to get over 1100. An automatic might run a little hotter due to not backing down between shifts. I know what you mean on waiting. I did not sleep too well the night before it got here. I had my wiring harness unplugged, boost elbow out and batteries disconnected when the fed-ex guy finally showed up. This thing is like Viagra for your truck!!
