I am trying to decide on what to get. What do you all recommend for Governor springs, AFC spring and plate kits TST or Piers? See my sig and feel free to give advice on Hop-up and what order to do them. :D

I vote for buying everything from Piers too.....

Better yet... just get direct deposit from your paycheck and have it placed into his account every week. Sure makes saving for BOMBs easier... . :D

Both of the gentlemen that run those companies are the best of the best. I don't see how you could go wrong with either.

Dennis

You need to start out with gauges first so you can see the difference as well as feel it. As you have an automatic, you need to be careful about not overpowering the transmission. When you call Piers, he will get you lined out.

Piers is a great resource of knowledge but in my opinion Mr. Chappel is the master. In the past, he has spent plenty of time explaining the power kits and their applications to me. Don't forget he was one of the pioneers of Cummins horsepower!

Either one is great and they both sell everything you need. When going for Guv springs the 3000rpm set are the best for the auto trans as the trans is set up to shift around there. Someone with an auto trans help me out here as I am going by overheard conversation from Piers and someone else and may have it wrong.

a pinch of this, and you can't for get that......

Just a thought, but you might want to get the timing checked out too if you have not already.

Andrew

Piers? Piers? Who's this Piers guy. . LOL.

Allright who told about my direct deposit account with Piers Diesel, Yall are catching on to all my secrets:cool:

The best way to do business with Piers, is to simply mail him your credit card. That way he can send you the newest parts and pieces for the 5. 9 Cummins as he finds, gets, builds, or otherwise modifies them. I know in my case it helps to not have him calling me every day for my card number.

Piers, YOU THE MAN!!!!

Don

Gummel - I visited with Bill (transmission) and Piers (springs etc) a couple of months ago. I now go out of my way to drive my truck. It is such a pleasure to deal with really nice guys who know their business. Each one in his own way is "pushing the envelope" in their field and you can bet they will be refining and bettering their stuff to the benefit of us all. Yeah, you gotta bring some money but for me it was worth every penny. Regards, Lynn

Lynn_Schwartz - nice comments, I couldn't have said it any better... . I'm gonna drive on up there someday too. I'm game for a road trip... . hrmmm.....

Bill K. , Piers..... I'll let you know before I leave that I'm coming. :)

Matt

I talked to Chapple at TST on the phone, no problem there. Seemed like a nice guy, very helpful. We were troubleshooting a problem that was not his fault.

But I have done more dealings with Piers, and will continue to.

Entertainment goes a long way with me, and he is definately entertaining, eh Steve?
