I have a tst powermax cr r47. Its seems to be throwing codes, Im thinking of getting rid of the tst and going with the smarty. The only downfall i can see is the lack of on the fly adjustability. How well do these work on the 03 h. o. motor? Or is there something else out there that you all recommend. Thanks
 
I have had the tst on several trucks now. I did have ocasional issues with codes especially on my 03. I am getting a smarty torwards the end of next week for my 06. I like what I hear about it and the fact that you can't see codes on an 06 without a down loader made it a no brainer for me. The lack of adjustability doesn't really bother me. I have a stock turbo and clutch so I am kind of limited for the time being anyway.
 
I run both but if I had to choose one it would be the smarty. It fuels a lot better than the TST will and seems to have a lot smoother power increase. I run the smarty on #1 and set the TST up from there, seems to work well.
 
Does anyone have dyno numbers that are over 500 with the Smarty only? I mean it can have a turbo, injectors, etc but run only the smarty for programming.
 
I will let you know what the smarty will do on wild with a stock clutch on 3/31. Hopefully the clutch holds up on the dyno!!
 
I have some friends around here, that say they know a better combo then the smarty. They say a predator box stacked with something else makes more power and is better ? Doesnt make sense to me considering everyone around here brags up the smarty. What do you people think??

I think Diesel Power's Project X truck runs a stack like that, it made 860hpOo.
