TST out of stock

Thanks, TDR Staff

just had the genos EZ drain plug twist off in my pan !

Twins cold piping-- why steel? Why not copper or PVC?

TST lists their box for the 03 Dodge as out of stock. Has anyone contacted them and gotten an estimated date when they will be available? I emailed but no response. I guess the one I just ordered is now backordered.

Thanks

See what we've been trying to get EDGE on to this buying spree. Looks like they missed out. I couldnt be happier with my TST! Its an awesome product and Im glad I didnt wait for EDGE.

That's what I've been hearing. I can't wait to get mine installed. I'm going to test it out by hooking up the toyhauler and heading for the hills.

I towed my 4 place enclosed snowmobile trailer to tahoe for a race and anything past 3/3 egts got pretty warm, but 3/3 is all I needed. BTW be careful with your boost #'s and higher settings.

Matt, is this on your 04. 5, did you run the tube from the intake down to the turbo, what kind of boost numbers are you seeing??

Yeah its on my 600, before I got the new wastegate (I had one of the first TST boxes for the 600 so I had to wait a little bit for parts) My boost could spike to the mid 40's! Now I have the new W/G valve set to about a 38lb spike then it falls to about 33-34 lbs. Without modding the TST W/G valve I could only get about 28-29 lbs.

Did you do this by scrwing in the little allen head screw, I have a freind with the TST and one of his complaints has been less boost than stock. How much did you turn it in????

Yeah, Mattymac, how did you mod the elbow? Enquiring minds want to know...

Very Carefully but kinda crudely as well but it works. I bought all of this copper valving and fittings just to find out my buying experience didnt work so the gears started turning and presto! I went to the toolbox and got my very sharp scribe and EVER SO SLIGHTLY!!!! opened up the little bleed off hole in the side of the TST valve then backed the allen stud out till the disired boost was achieved. By doing this it makes the initial spool up very fast due to loss of air pressure in the valve but once on boost (35-38 lbs for me) It opens the W/G and falls off to about 32-33lbs. I got lucky when I did mine because I just BARELY opened up the hole and it was all that was needed for good boost #'s. BE CAREFUL THE HOLE IN THE VALVE DOESNT TAKE MUCH OPENING UP FOR THIS TO WORK!!!! But it does work.

Could the same results be acheived by just turning the little screw in limiting the volume of air through the valve??? Maybe there's more than one way to skin this critter.

28-29lbs is with the allen stud on the valve all the way in (I double checked mine in the vise to make sure it was closed) Thats why I figured it needs a little more air!

I know he's crazy, but my friend runs his auto w/TST on 9/9 quite often and gets 52PSI with his stock turbo!! I keep telling him he's asking for major trouble but the only thing that's definetly on it's way south is the transmission. BTW, he special ordered his TST to be set up for twins. . extra boost I guess.

Actually it's just more fuel. The timing maps are the same with added duration. I ran this program for a few days with my stock turbo and can you say SMOKE! It was fun while it lasted but I went back to the norm so I could still tow.

With the normal program you can tow relatively safely up to setting 3:3. I've tried higher but the power come so hard and fast I feel like I'll break something under that much load.
