O. K. Guys... I know I'm gonna get hammered for this one but I have to be sure.

I hear you guys talking about different # plates from TST... #5 plate, #6 plate, # 11 plate, # 12 plate etc. etc. ,

My question is, which plate do I have? The reciept I got from TST says PK05kit, is this the #5 plate? Aside from removing the plate completely... #0 plate is as I understand the joke, which is the most powerfull? TST said the plate he was selling me was 275/675 plate and was the largest I could go without turbo mods etc. He warned me that my stock clutch would NOT hold the extra torque... He was correct, it lasted 6 months and one night I was showing off and ZOOOOM the RRRRR's went UP and the Speedo stayed put!!!! Got an aftermarket clutch and p-plate in now. Anyway, any info on what plate I have and helping me to uderstand the #'s in relation to the Power level will help.

as you can see from my signature, i have a number 6. from the figures you are quoting, a 5 should be the plate you have installed.

one of the first things you should purchase is a set of gauges. running that much power, you really need to keep an eye on your egt's. with my 6, no load, if i really punch it and run through the gears i can hit egt's of 1400-1500 (pre-turbo)

i know that is just spiking it and is not extended running at that temp, but it is still important to know where you stand on the heat in your manifold. imho

The zero is not just a joke, it is a real torque plate, custom made for me by TST. You have the 5 and it is a very good plate for your application.
