TST PM3-Does it require you to pierce the wire?

I just got my TST PM3 and can't install it yet because they sent the wrong harness. I was reviewing the directions and am a little confused. Does it require the piercing of the inject. pump wire? Thx

Yes it does. It does all of it's fueling through the pump wire.

Get the Grabber from TST

Don't use the Scotch locks that come with it. I had constant problems on my 2000 and eventually soldered it on. On my 2002, I bought a Grabber from TST and have not had any problems in 3 years.

I have the TST Comp stacked with a Edge Comp, The 2002 requires a adapter harness as the Map plug is different than the 2001. I also soldered the wires for the pump feed.

I am using a Blue Chip pump cover.



I agree, I don't like things that pierc the wire. Allows corrosion to get started. Use a pump cover or solder that bad boy!
