Get to gauged one so you have control of the EGT based defueling otherwise it is set to 1350deg. and cannot be changed or shut off. I mounted my controller in the notch (for the shifter) in the cup smoothie, I have my CB mounted right in front of the notch and the controller fits perfectly between. I'm sorry but I can't post Pics though.

Finished.

I made a little change in the way I sent the wire out the back and how I taped it in. I'll have pics. I didn't like the wire getting bent up and causing resistance when opening the ashtray so I put a new elongated hole in further back. This allows the wire to run straight out the back.

I used a 3M tape strip on the bottom and positioned the controller to the right so the top of it rests in the plastic joggle in the tray holder. That way it only needs the tape on the bottom edge. The top is supported by the plastic joggle. Pushing the buttons won't cause it to lean back.

I know there must be a thread out there that addresses this... . but, how do you all like you PMCRs? I am planning to move from EZ to PMCR and would appreciate your input before I make the buy. My only concern is that the next big buy will have to be transmission upgrades. BTW I took the EZ off recently and can hardly stand the truck at stock power level. Gotta have more power!

Thanks... Sorry for hijacking a perfectly good thread.

I like mine a lot too! I mostly run it on 1/1 which is probably very conservative for most on here, but I do turn it up when I get some holier than thou person in their car/SUV that thinks they own the world. Highest I have run it was 5/3 for a short "test run".

TomeyGun, do you think that an 03 HO with b1-b2 twins could handle 9x9 w/twins program?

the turbo's will handle it till the rail runs out of fuel!

my truck feels faster on level 8 than level 9. and tq level 7 feels the best but I am at 5000ft.

9/9 is good for turning day into night :-laf

It is a great box with huge potential. If you try to go beyond setting 6 on a stock turbo, expect to buy a new one. This is a box that demands respect, if you don't you'll be sorry. It is night and day to the EZ though :D

-Scott

Why would it kill the turbo? TST tells me they're '03 test truck never had any problems...

How about if you have the 150 FASS pump?

DSmock- There have been many instances of members blowing up turbos when the TST box was used at 6/6 or higher on a stock system. This is not a fault of TST, they give you what they claim. The higher boost along with the smaller (9cm) exhaust housing create much higher back pressures than stock. Some guys add injectors and stack boxes also. The turbo works most efficiently at 32 lbs of boost or less. Over that the charge air temp rises so fast that the egt's go out of site anyway. :D

I have seen the cp3 internals and the holes that fuel flows through are small.

I run two pumps back to back and the pressure to the cp3 after the filter never drops below 17psi yet I think the rail pressure falls off on level 9 after just a few seconds.

-robert

So then if you could ramp up the psi in the pump the fuel would not run out like this, but then you cant crank this CR to much or things start to happen. If someone could come out with a hotrod pump then you could really get the fuel going.
