Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) tst powermax 1?

I have the tst powermax 1 on a 99 and it turns on and off but the fueling light won't come on and fuse is good and the right one any input or sugestions. I'm not sure even as to how these really work i've always delt with edge witch just plugs in the block and the harness below pump but these are quite different. thanks

Check out TST's website. Middle-left side of the page there is link to Installation Instructions. Check to see if you have it hooked up correctly. I used a Blue Chip pump cover and PosiTaps for my PowerMax III install. Works great, more fuel on settings 6-9 than I can use with my stock turbo. You can also give them a call, they are good people who stand behind their products.

Powermax questions

I am comparing the juice and the powermax for my 3rd gen. I dont understand how the pwrmx has 2 settings one for power and one for torque.



Thought power was a function of torque



Also the juice and others only have one setting :"power"



Help appreciated

Yeah i'm not sure on that. The juice chip however just advances timing while the powermax chip andvances timing and fuel input, thus much more power. It taps into electronic fuel pump and increases fuel flow over stock.
