Ever since I had the dealer replace my ECM (they killed the original when doing the hard start TSB) and I use the cool down feature of my TST Powermax CR R49 I cannot use the remote key fob to lock the doors! I have to push the power lock switch inside the door before exiting the vehicle. I found out this Friday that I cannot immediatly get back IN to my truck using the key fob remote either! I started the cool down feature on the TST and then manually locked the door using the power switch and then started walking away from my truck. I then remembered I left something in the vehicle and walked back to it. The engine had already shut down by the time I got to it but had only been off for maybe 10 seconds. When I pushed the unlock button on the fob nothing happened. I tried it over and over again for about 15 seconds and then just used the key to unlock the door manually. At this point the factory security system activated and the horn and lights started going ape-*****.
I got in the truck and kept trying to deactivate the alarm by pushing the unlock and also the panic buttons... . NOTHING!!!! Put key in ignition... NOTHING. Began to search around for the tools to disconnect both batteries when FINALLY (it seemed like an eternity!!!) the remote worked and I was able to deactivate the alarm with the "unlock" button and then the truck would start also.
Now, before we blame the TST... BEFORE the dealer put a new ECM in the truck it DID NOT DO THIS. I could use the cool down timer, shut the door, hit the lock button and the horn would chirp and the doors would lock. I could unlock the doors too.
Also, see this thread on another strange occurance with the interior lights that started after the installation of the new ECM also:

Anyone have any ideas?? Did the dealer not program my ECM right? Is it a bad ECM? I have the factory security system with the Sentry Keys. The "disabled" key fob problem only occurs when using the TST cool down feature. The interior lights issue occurs all the time.
Thanks!!!
