Ive had my TST for a while now which I love and I havent had any codes till now. It only sets the P0606 code and CEL which we all know really means that the ECM sees a problem but cant do anything about it. My problem happens only when Im messing with the higher settings and driving it HARD, no less then 5/5. With anything over 5/5 and running the heck out of it my CEL comes on with the P0606 code which goes away after about 3 or 4 starts. I understood it to be that with almost all chips this code would be set but without the CEL on. Has anyone else had this happen? Truck runs perfect.

What is CEL?

My 03 with TST trips P0606 code on 5-3 or above if I stand on it hard.

And then resets after few starts

I can also trip P0606 code on setting 3-3 if I get on it before motor is at running temperature

Although truck runs great the whole time

Now that I have been running TST for a while I dont get on it so much anymore and havn't tripped P0606 code for about a month

Mostly running between 2-2 and 4-2

4-2 has real good power and EGT ok

CEL is Check engine light.

I tripped my light yesterday morning when engine was still a little cool taking my ski boat to get some petro. Does anyone know what would cause the light to come on when motor hasnt fully warmed up while using the power?

I just talked to mark yesterday and he also said he has 04. 5 truck with 606 code and I told him that I moved my ground (from the tst box) from the battery to under the dash I am code free.

I had all sorts codes from the first time I put the box on.

try moving the ground wire and see if this helps. Mark said they were going to try this also on his truck so you could ask him if it helped.
