I installed the new TST box on my truck today and it is acting kind of strange. The exhaust has kind of a machine gun sound and the smoke comes out of the pipe in the same manner. The higher I set it the louder and faster gun I have. It doesn't seem to be smooth. The boost is around 40 with plenty of EGT... it just sounds and looks via the exhaust that something is not quite right. Any ideas??... CJ

First contact TST about this. We installed our box tonight and when we initially started the truck it was misfiring like it was running on 4 cylinders. Codes P0203, P0204, P0234, P0236 popped up. These are all related to the injectors. We finally decided that the problem had to be in the wiring of the injector harness. Ohm out the connectors and you should find that with the tab at the top on each the upper right and lower left are the positive tabs. Our center connector had the pins switched. This is more than likely your problem too. It might be any of the connectors though so check each and make sure they ohm the same. Good luck.

The truck idles smooth as silk and has no codes. I think it may have something to do with the wastegate hose. Mine has been disconnected for over a year. I will install the TST elbow tomorrow and see if it persists. The boost may be building higher than it is suppose to throwing their software off. The SPA locked it at 48psi... way too high... CJ

First I would like personally thank Mark and Greg for all there help and their time spent on our truck today. After everthing said and done the wiring was not the issue. We just got lucking and the truck ran after switching the two wires. Bottom line, it was 11:00 at night and we just wanted to try it out and have some fun. Keep in mind when you don't have the wiring diagrams on something its best to leave it alone. I will stress to everyone with this box double check all your connections and you will be fine. Actual install time without gauge's is around 30 or less once you have an idea of what your doing, and you read the instructions. I think everyone should give Mark, Greg and everyone at TST a job well done for all they have done to give us a great product like the PMCR. ( thanks again guys )
