Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) TST question

lately my remote before I start the truck with key on the screen will flash a 8 only once. TST web site talks about it flashing (not 1 time) for a error on connections and fuse. but is this the same for 1 single flash. this may have been going on for ever but just now noticed. anyone else run into this

I have a TST PM3 Adjustable on my 02 3500, but have never encountered your problem.

key on, one 'flash' of an 8.....

so this is normal no worries. with one flash

okay so just to set all of the other knuckle heads that might fall in my group. :-laf. . I talked to mark chapple and the initial flash of decimal point and number 8 is just a normal sequence the remote does on prior starting of vehicle. I have had my TST always hanging down and never noticed this untill recently I had moved its location. now I know

I have seen mine do this every now and again. The thing still works, so I figure there is nothing wrong.
