TST R49 egt probe & mechanical pricol egt gauge

Is it possible to use my egt thermocouple for the tst r49 and a mechanical gauge or will i need to drill and tap exhaust mani for the mechanical one?

If u are talking about hookin the two together so u dont have to drill two holes then yes it'll work! Mines hooked up that way, but i do plan on tappin the other probe in here soon!

Why tap other probe if hookin the 2 together works? Just wonderin, because if installing them seperate is better then I will do the same.

I installed them separate, just to have the ability to monitor more cylinders. I have my Dipricol probe monitoring cylinders 5-6 and the TST in the pretapped ats port which does 1-3. I'm thinking about switching them and set the defuel on the TST based on 5 and 6. On hard pulls, the back two seem to get 100 to 150 deg warmer than the front 3. But I know several people who have hooked them together. Tac
