TST R49AP on an 03 auto - econ settings

Hey folks.



I sold my TST R49AP. friend is running it on an 03 short box QC auto. the transmission is in decent shape and truck runs well.



What are you folks with this box running for econ settings. I never used it my self on econ ;-) how ever this guy will. Everything about this truck is STOCK, right down to the air cleaner and tail pipe with exception of the TST box



The truck will be un-loaded 99% of the time.

I get the best MPG on 1/1 on mine. He may/will have to adjust it for his driving style.

He will just have to try different settings and options to find what works best on his truck and his driving habits.



Like stated above start with econo program and 1/1. The try 2/1, etc. until he finds power and mileage he likes together.



He may even find that the Standard program and maybe 2/1 or 3/1 will do even better.



Unfortunately it is a matter of trial and error to find the right combo.
